Dr. Parmis Rezvani,
PT, DPT, CSCS

Performance Therapist
ACL Recovery Specialist
Sports Injury Expert

Dr. Parmis Rezvani is a highly-skilled Sports Rehab and Performance Physical Therapist with extensive experience working with elite athletes, including those in NWSL soccer, MLB, NFL combine, professional tennis, and Cirque Du Soleil. She specializes in performance based rehabilitation, injury prevention, and ensuring athletes return to play quickly and safely.

Parmis combines evidence-based interventions, advanced manual therapies and alternative methods, focusing on treating the body as a whole rather than just addressing symptoms. Her holistic approach and experience with elite athletes make her a trusted expert in sports physical therapy.

In her role with San Diego Wave FC, she provided specialized care to help players safely return to peak performance from sport-related injuries. She also managed the unique demands of Cirque Du Soleil performers, further honing her skills in injury prevention and recovery.

Parmis holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University and a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from The University of Texas at Austin. With over 7 years of experience in sports rehabilitation, she has strengthened her expertise in injury prevention, performance optimization, and seamless athlete reintegration into their sport.

Her commitment to professional excellence is evident through her desire for continual advanced learning and numerous certifications including strength and conditioning specialist, advanced manual therapy through North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, functional dry needling, concussion management, and alternative methods of rehab such as Pilates rehab certification.

A former athlete herself, Parmis is dedicated to bridging the gap between rehabilitation and peak performance. Outside of work, she enjoys strength training, hiking, dancing and recreational sports like soccer, pickleball and beach volleyball.

Dr. Brandon Pascual, PT, DPT, is the founder of Project Performance and a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a deep specialization in chronic back, spine, and knee pain. Since 2016, he has helped active adults—those passionate about group classes, weightlifting, and running—overcome long-standing injuries and return to the activities they love.

His holistic, performance-based approach goes beyond traditional rehab. Dr. Brandon integrates running, plyometrics, and strength training into therapy early, adjusting—not eliminating—workouts to keep his patients active throughout recovery. Whether managing persistent back pain, rebuilding strength after knee injuries, or guiding runners through safe reintegration, he tailors every plan to the individual.

After tearing his ACL, MCL, and meniscus playing football in 2011, Dr. Brandon personally experienced the limitations of traditional therapy. By designing his own path to strength and mobility, he not only healed but discovered his passion for helping others navigate chronic pain without relying solely on surgery.

Today, Dr. Brandon is known for working with patients who have "tried everything" and still found no solution—until they experienced his movement-focused, educational, and sustainable care model.

He continues to invest in advanced education, ensuring his patients benefit from the latest research in performance therapy, pain science, and athletic rehabilitation.

Favorite Quote: "I'm still learning." — Michelangelo at age 87.

Outside of work, Brandon enjoys strength training, CrossFit, field sprints with his dog Doug, and unwinding with Clippers games, Marvel movies, and episodes of "Impractical Jokers."
